I am Marcus. I live in Woodlands, work regular hours, and write these notes when the flat is quiet enough to hear the pen scratch.

Tape Shelf is a nickname for a real shelf — pine, slightly bowed, covered in labels my neighbour says look like a chemist's cupboard. I take that as praise.

I write about ordinary north-side routes: the causeway breeze, void-deck benches, buses that always arrive two minutes after you stop checking the app.
